Ernest Carl Fackler
Artist Statement
My work is concerned with our natural world; dreamed, idyllic, simplistic, plastic, and decorative in its dynamism. Read as a short story told in a voice of spatial experiments, motif, and natural forms. The Woodcut's tactile nature and history, mythology, the human figure, and the nature of Michigan inform and inspire my printwork and paintings.
